Alec co-founded EPIC after spending 6 years at IWP Family Office (“IWP”), a multi-billion-dollar multi-family office. Alec’s responsibilities at IWP included public and private investment research, portfolio allocation construction and execution, and related family office investment management duties. Alec was instrumental in developing the EPIC investment strategy and due diligence processes. Alec graduated from the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business with a BSBA in Finance and minors in Accounting and Spanish. He holds a Series 65 License.
Jimmy is experienced in portfolio management, private equity, investment banking and sales. He was previously an Associate at Envisage Advisors, focused on lower middle market private equity and investment banking. He also previously served as a Portfolio Management Associate at Aesir Capital Management, a liquid credit focused hedge fund acquired by ExodusPoint Capital Management. Prior to Aesir Capital, Jimmy was as an analyst at UBS on the Institutional Fixed Income Credit Sales desk. Jimmy graduated with a BA in Political Science from University of Southern California.
Michael joined EPIC to lead business development and investor relations after working as an operations lead at Uber Technologies and as a management consultant at PwC Advisory. At Uber, Michael led merchant acquisition for new verticals, where he executed go-to-market strategies that focused on partnering with non-restaurant merchants. At PwC, he specialized in finance operations, helping clients of varying size and sector, to implement new processes, systems, and organizational designs. Michael graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Business Economics and a minor in Spanish.
Charles (“Charlie”) is the President of IWP Family Office where he co-founded EPIC, leveraging his experience in investments and family office management. Charlie founded IWP in 2005 to serve his own family, building on his professional philosophies as an advisor and his personal demands and experiences as a client. Prior to IWP, Charlie spent several years as a principal of a $500 million multi-family investment firm. Charlie started his career at J.P. Morgan, where he was a senior analyst and key member of an influential and award-winning institutional equity research team covering communications equipment and components companies. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with a BA in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Political Science. He holds a Series 65 License.
Kevin co-founded EPIC after an extensive career in family office management, private equity, real estate and consulting. Prior to EPIC and his ongoing role at IWP, Kevin previously served as an executive with MBH Enterprises, a Denver based diversified holding company with multiple operating subsidiaries. In addition, Kevin served as the Chief Operating Officer of Klingbeil Capital Management, a privately-owned real estate investment and management company, and SVP and head of property operations for United Dominion, a Colorado based REIT. Kevin graduated with a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg School of Management. He holds a Series 65 License.
Tamara (“Tam”) co-founded EPIC with extensive experience in wealth management. Tam brings a tremendous amount of first hand experience managing assets on behalf of high net worth individuals and family offices. Tam remains a Partner at IWP. Prior to IWP Tam served as the Director of Client Service at a multi-family office located in Boston. Prior to that, she was an associate to the portfolio management and financial planning divisions of a multi-family investment management firm, then moved on to be an analyst at Fidelity Investments. Tam graduated with her BA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her MS in Financial Planning from Bentley College McCallum Graduate School of Business. She holds her Certified Financial Planner™ designation and her Series 65 License.
